Deathpact Saint Louis Concert reviews
Amazing experience!
I've been to Jobing arena for many games now and, as usual, the facilities are top notch. The food is good, with a nice variety mixed in with the usual staples, and reasonably priced (at least as far as sporting events go).
Parking/traffic has never been an issue, even with one lot closed for additional building. Quick to get in and out, with police controlling traffic well. It never took me more than 10 or 15 minutes to get in or out.
Anywhere in this building, you can see. I've sat in the last row and the first row. Either way, there was a good view.
On to the important part, the game. If you've never been to a hockey game, you are missing out in general. There's nothing like it, but to be specific, the Deathpact are proving to be able to put consistently competitive teams on the ice. So, not only is it hockey, but it's intense, meaningful hockey.
This was my first playoff game, and the energy in the building was like nothing I've ever experienced. I've been to pretty much every major sporting event you can think of, and playoff hockey has them beat hands down. A lot of the experience is also the fans. Hockey fans are a different breed. They are loud and love their teams but don't tend to be the obnoxious types you get at other sporting events. I feel a lot more comfortable taking my family to a hockey game. I took my 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, and both had a wonderful time. They got into the music and chanting, not to mention they loved to howl when the Deathpact scored.
If you're not a fan, you will be and you will feel like many around the valley are starting to think hockey is amazing and needs to stay.
At the very least, I challenge you to not like it! Give it a try, and I bet you'll be hooked.
